Will California vote to ban same sex marriage?

"51% polled oppose CA ban on same sex marriage."

Following a recent court decision in California, same sex marriage was legalized in the Golden State, and of course caused some controversy. Now Californians are expected to vote on a Proposition 8 this November, which would define marriage in the California Constitution as between a man and a woman. A new poll shoes that 51% of Californians oppose the measure and will vote against it, keeping same-sex marriage legal. Do you think California will ban same-sex marriage?

The bible says, in Gen.2:24. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Then, if we to follow the truth, it doesn't matter that same-sex could get marriage if we respect GOD Himself who created human in his own image. Gays should be allow to marry if they want. The biggest concern seems to be that "sex" is the issue. When looking at it sexually, heterosexuals many times are involved in the same types of sexual positions are those that have be relegated to gays. But if we"heterosexuals admitted that, then that might change our own sexual identity. Live and let live so long as it is consenting parties.

The Bible was also used to justify slavery. Sodom and Gomarrha ?? they threw out the hand maiden , she was gang banged to death, left on their door step, but people believe that the city was destroyed because they really wanted the handsome angel. Lets you know what Christians think of women. Also, the old testment law banned shell fish, having sex with a women on her period, pulling out and not planting your seed in the woman, mouth to genital contact and more.

I think it is everyones business, we talking about morals here. It will be your business when you brother/sister or child does it. It is also sinfull and please before you say I am judging read your bible, The bible clearly states that homosexuality is sinful. Please people stop saying people are botm that way as GOD made us perfect and in HIS IMAGE. I hope it is banned even though I am from South Africa I would not want that immorallity spilt over here.

Those who think that it should be legal because of choice, know that our laws are meant to govern morality. If I am only attracted to 15-yr olds, does that make it ok? Secondly, don't be deceived by the Gay Agenda. It is not a harmless, victimless lifestyle. Gays don't just want to have the same liberties as straight couples, they want to erase the immorality of it completely. Once the stigma is removed, our children are less protected from the dangers of exploration. It's an attack on the family.

Today it is not based on right or wrong it is what feels good and how many votes you can lose by going against these minorities. I think that it will pass because the world has become one of such low morals that sex is just another form of recreation. Gays do not need to have a marriage, they can find another way to make their $ etc. be left to their lover, but they insist on causing discord in the world instead of just living their life quietly. Its un-natural, it should not be allowed. I think, even in animals; sex is prefered between opposite sexes !! which is quite natural, so man should be dignified. We are human beings and we should be above animals in all aspects of characters (upto whatever level we can)

i dont understand why everyone's freaking out about it. they're gay, it's not like they're cousins or something disgusting like that. they love each other, and who's to say that their love isn't even purer than traditional marriage?let them get married, it's not going to affect you in the long run anyways.

It should be legal. If they love eachother enough why deny them the privillage to do what opposite sex couples can do - vow to spend the rest of their life together. I am not lesbian myself but same sex marriage should be legal!
